Screensaver TV

Privacy Policy · Effective August 18, 2026

This policy explains how Screensaver TV (the "App"), developed by Emre Öztürk, handles information on Apple TV.

We do not collect any data. The App contains no analytics, advertising, tracking, or telemetry.

The short version

What the App does

Screensaver TV displays ambient Metal shader animations on your Apple TV. All rendering happens locally on your device. The App does not connect to the internet and does not transmit any data.

Data stored on your device

The App may store your shader preferences (e.g., selected shader, cycle interval) locally on your Apple TV to remember your settings. This data never leaves your device.

Analytics and diagnostics

The App does not include Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics, or any third-party analytics or crash-reporting SDK. We do not receive custom events, device identifiers, or diagnostic telemetry.

Apple may provide developers with aggregated store statistics or platform crash information when users choose to share diagnostics under their device settings. Those platform services are controlled by Apple and are not telemetry transmitted by the App.

Data sharing and tracking

We do not sell data, use data for advertising, or track users across apps or websites. Because the App has no account system and we do not collect data, there is no user profile or remotely stored data to provide or delete.

Children's privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13, or the applicable minimum age in their region. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a revised effective date. Material changes will also be noted in the App's release notes.
